This Privacy Policy explains how CodeRed Technologies, Inc. ("CodeRed", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects personal information in connection with RouteIQ Dispatch Software, our dispatch software platform and website (the "Service").

1. Our Two Roles

We handle personal information in two distinct capacities:

• As a controller for information about website visitors, the people who create and administer accounts, and usage and crash diagnostics from our apps.
• As a processor for the data our business customers run through the platform: their customers' contact details, job records, and their drivers' location data. That data belongs to the business, and we process it on their instructions. If you are a customer or driver of a business that uses RouteIQ Dispatch Software, direct privacy requests to that business; we will assist them in fulfilling your request. Our business processing is governed by our Data Processing Agreement.

2. Information We Collect

• Account and contact information: name, email address, and phone number when you request access, create an account, or contact us.
• Payment information: processed by our payment processor. We store payment method references, never full card numbers.
• Usage and log data: technical information about how the Service is used, collected to operate, secure, and improve it. The mobile apps record app events, screen views and crash diagnostics, which can include a RouteIQ user identifier and device or app information.

You must provide account details to create an account; without them we cannot provide the Service.

3. How We Use Information

• To provide the Service: dispatching, route optimization, arrival estimates, notifications, chat, and reporting.
• To respond to access requests and support inquiries.
• To protect the security and integrity of the Service, including fraud prevention and the audit log.
• To comply with legal obligations.

Where EU or UK data protection law applies to our own controller processing, we rely on performance of a contract where we contract with you personally; our legitimate interests in administering business accounts, providing support, maintaining security and preventing fraud; compliance with legal obligations; and consent where required. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We share it with service providers that help us run the Service, only as needed for these purposes:

• Cloud hosting and infrastructure
• Email and push notification delivery
• Payment processing
• Monitoring, analytics, crash reporting and app updates
• Website status page, contact form and spam protection

We may also disclose information when required by law, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition.

5. Data Retention

We keep account and contact information while your account is active and delete it after the account closes, unless we need it to meet legal, tax or accounting obligations or to resolve disputes. Usage and diagnostic data is kept only as long as needed to operate and secure the Service. Business data we process for customers is returned or deleted under our DPA.

6. Security

We use administrative, technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the risk, including access controls, HTTPS connections and encryption of stored data. No system is completely secure.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing under laws such as the GDPR and CCPA. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@routeiq.app. If your data is processed on behalf of a business that uses RouteIQ Dispatch Software, we will route your request to them and assist in fulfilling it. We do not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. Where EU or UK law applies, you may also complain to a competent supervisory authority, including the authority where you live or work or where an alleged infringement occurred.

8. International Transfers

The Service is operated from the United States. If you access it from elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. For business data we process for our customers, our Data Processing Agreement includes the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK Addendum.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

10. Cookies and App Diagnostics

Our website uses functional storage. The status page widget and the contact form's spam check are third-party services that may receive browser or device information and set their own cookies. The mobile apps' analytics and crash diagnostics are separate from website cookies.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version here and update the date above, and we will notify active customers of material changes.
